What this site is

The product pages and guides here are general information about exercise equipment, written from selling it. They are not medical, physiotherapy or personal training advice, and they are not about your body in particular.

If you have a health condition, an injury, or are pregnant, take advice from your doctor or physiotherapist before starting a new kind of exercise or buying equipment for it.

What we do not claim

• We make no claim that any product treats, prevents or improves any health condition, including blood pressure, joint pain, arthritis or cholesterol.
• We make no claim about weight loss or fat loss. Exercise is part of a routine; what it does for you depends on far more than a machine.
• We make no claim that any product is suitable for rehabilitation of a particular injury. Some products are low impact and adjustable, which is why they are sometimes used that way; whether one suits your recovery is a question for the clinician treating you.

Specifications and images

Dimensions, folded sizes, weight limits and other specifications are the manufacturer's published figures. Where none is published, we say so rather than estimating. Photographs are for illustration; colours can appear differently on different screens, and small differences between an image and the item you receive are normal and not a fault.

Weight limits and safe use

A maximum user weight is a manufacturer's figure for normal use, not a stress rating and not a promise about jumping, dropping or leaning on a frame at an angle. Assemble products as the instructions describe and check fixings before each use.
